This two-step process of posting to DX1 and then transferring to QuickBooks can be a huge time saver, according to Ellen Ferguson, accountant for DX1 customer, Fred Cummings Motorsports in Bakersfield, Calif. If there is an error on an invoice, Ferguson can fix that error in DX1 before sending the invoice to QuickBooks. Previously, while using a different industry DMS, Ferguson had to call that DMS support service every time she needed to correct an invoice. The DX1 process saves “hours per day,” Ferguson said.
