The holidays are upon us! Time to start connecting buyers and their shopping lists with the perfect gifts your dealership has to offer. As you finalize your marketing plan for this season, we have a few tips (some tried and true, some new) for you to consider.
- Deck your Website - Put up festive home page banners that promote top-selling gift ideas. Make sure holiday hours are listed and easily visible for all to see. Utilize your event calendar to reveal all of your upcoming events, such as Black Friday deals, Cyber Monday specials and Breakfast with Santa!
- Send holiday cheer - Use email marketing to help your customers with their shopping. Choose your best-selling gift purchases and showcase one each day in an ongoing email campaign. Add a bow with special one-day-only pricing, and if the featured item can be purchased on your website, add a direct link to the product page.
- Socialize with guests - Try a few new methods to engage with your social media followers. Get personal with Facebook live. Show off your products that make great gifts and connect viewers with dealership events while they’re taking place. Encourage your customers to share their experience by tagging you in a live video taken at your dealership or a pic of their new purchase. Use incentives, such as a gift cards to encourage these shares.
- Invite shoppers to visit your dealership or website with paid advertising - Consider trying Facebook advertising. Facebook gives you the ability to reach your specific audience by location, interests, demographics, age, gender and connections. With these specific fields, you are able to target a desired market for every promotion. Google AdWords is another great way to reach your target audience. Choose keywords that relate to your promotions and use “Holidays and Seasonal Events” topic targeting to reach those searching for powersports enthusiast product deals during the holidays.
